There’s still so much hype about Facebook buying over WhatsApp, it has to be one of the biggest bought-over in history. That aside, are you getting tired of paying high monthly rates on texts and calls? WhatsApp has good news for all of you users! The highest rated downloaded app will soon be introducing free voice calls for Android and iOS users, while BlackBerry and Windows Phone will be supported later.
Jan Koum, CEO of WhatsApp, announced that anyone who downloads the chat app on their phones will be able to make Internet phone calls in the second quarter of the year. “We are going to introduce voice in WhatsApp in the second quarter of this year,” Koum said at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
“I think we have the best voice product out there. We use the least amount of bandwidth.”
