Bra’s are an essentials to us women – we need them and they need us. But, sometimes, we tend to look past a couple of important rules when it comes to wearing a bra because we ignore them for the sake of comfort.
Well, we’re here to set it straight. The do’s and don’ts of wearing a bra. Once you know what’s right and what’s wrong, you won’t have to worry the next time you pick up a top you love, and don’t want to ruin it with bra straps.
DON’T wear bright/black bras with white shirts
You may not see it, but others will. If you’re planing to wear a white top, try not to pair it up with a black bra or even a bright pink one. No one really wants to see what you’re wearing underneath. Really, it’s a bad idea. You’ll end up with photos of yourself and think, ‘why did i wear that bra’!
DO wear the right size
This is probably the most important thing about wearing a bra. You have to keep everything in the right propotion. You don’t want your boobs to be spilling out of your bra, nor to you want there to be too much of a gap. Be sure to get the right bra for yourself in order to get that comfort that you deserve too.
DO wear a strapless bra
If you’re planning to wear a spaghetti strap top/dress or even a tube top, you should definitely go for a strapless bra. When the straps of your bra is popping out, it’s not as nice and ‘effortless’ as you think. Keep it classy, and go for the strapless bra!
DON’T wear a bra with lace
Lace is something that is pretty delicate and if you’re planning to pair it up with bright coloured bras, then you’re only going to ruin the outcome. If you’re wearing lace, try using bras the same colour as the lace, and go for the strapless type. This makes the entire look as one without looking to trashy. Which is a good thing.
DO go bra-less
No, we’re not saying you should go out and run around topless. When you’re planning to wear something that is low cut or backless, you might want to consider going bra-less. It’s only because seeing a bra strap may ruin your entire look. But, only go completely bra-less if your comfortable. If not, you could always wear stick ons for that extra bit of secuity.
