We’ve talked so much about the Victoria’s Secret hotties the past week that we feel like there’s nothing we don’t already know about them – we stand corrected.
Yes, they’re super supermodels. Yes, they’re perhaps some of the richest women out of the one billion women in the workforce around the world. And yes, they’re drop dead gorgeous. Every girl wants be them and every man wants to be with them. But let’s get a little romantic (and envious) with some of the Victoria’s Secret models as we take you into their love stories. Here are some of their fairy tales:
“Caleb is the man of my dreams. You can quote me on that.”
Lily Aldridge first walked the Victoria’s Secret Fashion show in 2009. And in 2010, she was given her “wings to fly” when Victoria’s Secret signed her as an “Angel”. But Lily was already flying without them anyway because in 2007, she met her now-husband, “Kings of Leon” frontman, Caleb Followill by chance at Coachella music festival. The pair then dated for four years before tying the knot in May 2011.
“He’s so hands on with baby-everything. I couldn’t have asked for a better dad.”
Ever since he made his appearance in the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy, Orlando was the talk of the world. The media were constantly breathing down his neck following his every “dating” move. They stopped when he got romantically involved with none other than the cherubic “Angel” Miranda Kerr in late 2007. Four years, a wedding, and a baby later, hearts around the world are still breaking.
“I’m a model, he’s a singer, and we’re just doing our jobs. We just happen to be together.”
Who would’ve thought that being a swimsuit superstar supermodel would’ve landed her a date, and two dates, and then some with pop rock hottie Adam Levine from “Maroon 5”? Anne Vyalitsyna attended the 2010 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue release party in Las Vegas and Adam was performing and bam! Sparks flew. They’ve been dating ever since.
“Really, all we do is chill out at home, watching movies and sports. We love it!”
After many appearances in the “Sports Illustrated Swimsuit” issues, she was no stranger to men from all walks of life. We say “all walks of life” because guess which American tennis player landed in her path? The couple met in 2007 when Roddick asked his agent to contact Decker’s agent after seeing her in “Sports Illustrated”. Bold! The unlikely but absolutely perfect for each other couple wed in an intimate candlelit ceremony in 2009.
“We always put each other first. No matter what.”
Heidi Klum. Even her name is stunning. And it’s no surprise that she stunned musician Seal a few times over after their first meeting at the GQ Awards, London, in 2004. The couple dated for a year before they quietly wed on a Mexican beach in 2005. Heidi and Seal are now proud parents to four children. To date, they are still the strongest relationship in Hollywood.
And there you have it. Fairy tales, not fables. Oh, lucky ones. Well, that’s not fair. They’re already gorgeous! What about the rest of us?
