Our Review
Now, here’s a movie we didn’t expect to keep us on the edge of our seats. We walked into the cinema with an open mind and ofcourse no expectations in mind. It’s been awhile since we saw Colin Farrell on the big screen and the same goes fro Terrence Howard and Noomi Rapace – which is something we were looking forward too.

If you are a fan of high powered action movies – then this is something you will enjoy. The action was packed from beginning to the end. Though, there was no tricky twist and turns in the end. It was your typical straight forward action movie.

Dead Man Down is based on revenge. Colin Farrell who plays Victor, is a man who lost everything that was once dear to him, and he wants someone to pay for it. In the process of his search for revenge, he meets Beatrice who is played by Noomi Rapace – and they start on their action filled journey towards the revenge that they seek. Getting back at their enemy who once hurt them. In Beatrice’s cause, it was Alphonse who is played by Terrence Howard.

Through out the entire movie – you will hear countless gun shots and explosions that really keep you on the edge of your seat.

We absolutely loved how the entire movie was shot. There was a very artist feel to each and every shot in the movie. And, knowing it was directed Niels Arden Oplev (who was the director for the first version of ‘The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo), we didn’t know what to expect. But we definitely satisfied with the outcome.

As for the acting and the script, there was not much dialogue that was worth remembering – but each and every character in the movie really went all out to complete their roles. You can see the passion and commitment was given from all the actors – even the smaller roles.

Overall, the movie was just pure entertainment. It was simple and straight to the point. From beginning to the end, you know that the whole movie is based on revenge. So it just shows the different ends that people go to just to seek revenge.

Check out the trailer and we’re pretty sure you’ll want to watch it too:
