Sundays, a home and lifestyle store, has been curating modern contemporary goods since launching in 2010. Now, the people behind the store have opened up a space inside to work with new and emerging local talents.
Teaming up with Claire Organics, Sundays is conducting its first DIY workshop on how to make organic soap this Sunday, on the 23rd of May at Sundays, Bangsar Village II, from 3 to 5.30pm. The class will be able to accommodate 15 pax and it costs RM350 per pax for a 2.5-hour workshop.
During the fun and interactive workshop, you will learn the basics of soap making and create your very own natural handmade soap that is customised to your skin conditions. You will be working with essential oils, botanical powders and mineral clays, as well as learning the basic swirling techniques to create artistic designs.
Aside from that, you will be taught about the benefits of essential oils and ingredients used to make soap, as well as how to read product labels to watch out for harmful ingredients. At the end of the session, you will leave with two loaves of handmade soap, unique to your own creation.
