Positive reviews and word of mouth are essential when it comes to marketing yourself, and when Seattle resident Jake Chapman got on Tinder, he realized he might be able to use this strategy and maybe get lucky.
Chapman decided to text a few of his ex-girlfriends to see if they would be willing to review their past relationships with him and use their quotes on his Tinder profile.
Chapman’s strategy actually gained him in some matches, including one he probably never expected.
One of his exes, a girl named Taylor, sent him a 4-and-a-half star review and he didn’t put it on his profile, but this is what it said:
He’s got a job, condo, dog, fast car, can cook, good with his hands and is a complete sweet heart. The only thing keeping me from trying to be with him is 1,155 miles.
Unfortunately, Taylor had a boyfriend when she wrote that and Chapman received this text:
It seems that Chapman might not even need to use Tinder anymore. He said he woke up to find out that Taylor had booked a flight from California to recover from her breakup:
