New York-based artist Jai Kamat was an emotional man on his wedding day. His cousin, Lauren Benson, snapped photos of his tear-jerking facial expressions after seeing his bride, Julie, walk down the aisle.
Both Jai and Julie, 26, are college sweethearts. They became husband and wife at Orlando’s Disney World Florida this past Memorial Day in May.
Julie didn’t reveal any details of what her dress looked like, so when she finally emerged in the much-anticipated ensemble, “it was kind of surreal,” Jai mentioned.
“Everyone was there, all our friends and family, and I was really happy and trying to hold back tears at the same time.”
On the other hand, his bride wasn’t as impressed upon seeing her husband’s intense display of emotions.
Jay explained, “She sort of rolled her eyes because she’s used to it. She was like, ‘Oh, boy, here we go.'”
Still, the photos are amazing! We’re so happy for both of them.
