Tom Hiddleston as Loki
Avengers II director Joss Whedon has confirmed that Loki (played by Tom Hiddleston) will not reprise his villainous role in the Marvel Studios’ forthcoming sequel.
“Everyone is going to be looking for the Loki-Hulk smash moment and you’ll be looking for ‘quim’.”
Hiddlestone’s Loki was previously featured in Thor and The Avengers will also be seen again in Thor: The Dark World, which should be released in theaters at the end of the year.
The Avengers 2 will start shooting in February 2014 and will hit theaters in May 2015. Source
