Future Music Festival Asia is this weekend! Apart from the amazing music line-up, great company and ridiculous amounts of fun, you can be sure that a few things may eventually go wrong.
Us girls at Lipstiq are so excited for it, but we’ve also decided to come up with a survival guide especially for the ladies -dedicated to making your music festival experience a good one!
Us girls at Lipstiq are so excited for it, but we’ve also decided to come up with a survival guide especially for the ladies -dedicated to making your music festival experience a good one!
1. Bring a bag that’s easy to carry, something that you can sling across your body so you can have your hands free and at the same time, be sure your belongings are safe.
2. Wear something comfortable! Shorts and flowy tank tops are ideal. Anything airy and will allow you to move around freely would be best. For your feet, flipflops or shoes you don’t mind getting dirty. Especially with Malaysia’s weather being so unpredictable, you’ll need to be ready for the hot sun or rain.
3. Bring an extra top, just incase you sweat too much and feel icky or you get drenched in the rain. Lucky for us girls, tank tops are really light and easy to fold into a small bundle to carry.
4. Sunblock, sunblock and more sunblock! Don’t forget to take care of your skin as you party!
5. Get a raincoat. They sell cheap, easy to carry ones that you can dispose of once you no longer want it.
6. Plan a meet up spot with your group of friends as soon as you get there. That way if someone wanders off, it’ll be easy to find each other without panicking and running around looking for each other.
7. Bring baby wipes or tissues, you’ll need it to wipe your face clean, or even your shoes if it gets too muddy.
8. Bring your own bottle of water! You’ll definitely need to stay hydrated if your planning to spend the whole day out at the festival.
9. Carry an energy bar in your bag. You never know when you’ll need that extra energy. Future Music Festival will go on throughout the night, after all.
10. Have some waterproof bags on standby. In case the weather gets wet, at least you’ll be able to keep your belongings safe and dry, especially your gadgets!
