The long wait is over and BlackBerry has finally introduced the new Q10 smartphone. Was this something you were excited about?
Research In Motion (RIM), which has changed its name to BlackBerry. Known for having the physical QWERT keypad, the new Blackberry Q10 joined in the force of touchscreen smartphone as compatible with other smartphone competitors.
The features that remained in the new Q10 is its signature physical keyboard and its chrome border. The new BlackBerry Q10 features a 3.1-inch 720 x 720 LCD screen which is touch-enabled hence the cursor was not included in the new Q10.
Another intriguing feature is the dual-core 1.5GHz processor which makes everything a lot more powerful and faster. You can also find a 2GB RAM and 16GB expandable memory. The Q10 is also said to have a 2,100mAh battery, which is the largest battery of any BlackBerry phone made so far. Though, the camera features have yet to change – and that’s something we’re sure some of you were looking out for.
The local pricing and availability of the BlackBerry Q10 is yet to be known – but there is a rumor that this smartphone will be hitting Malaysian shores on the 20th of February. Fingers crossed!
Along side the Q10, they have also introduced the Z10 which is the none-keypad version of the Q10. For all those touch-screen fans, you will be impressed with this.
With a 4.2-inch touchscreen that has a 1280 x 768 pixels resolution and Dual core TI OMAP 4470 1.5GHz processor, the Z10 is said to work smoother and faster. It also holds a system-on-a-chip processor that contains two ARM cores, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, 8-megapixel back camera, 2-megapixel front camera, 1080p video recording and a MicroSD slot. Pretty impressive yet.
There is no confirmed dates on when everything will be released in Malaysia, but hold on to your seats and start saving!
