Cellulite is something 90% of all women can relate to. Cellulite is caused by fat cells that have clumped into the skin’s middle layer, where they pull on connective tissue forming an unattractive, dimpled skin surface. As far as we’ve been told, there really isn’t a cure to cellulite, with the exception of surgery, but were not supermodels or celebrities who can afford that sort of thing! But ladies, you’ll be glad to know that with we can in fact diminish the appearance of cellulite with a little tender loving care.

Burn It Off
Cellulite is a form of fat, and the true and natural way to get rid of fat is to burn it off with exercise. Intense cardio like running, cycling, hiking and even dancing will be your best bed to start minimizing the appearance of cellulite. It may take time, but you’ll certainly notice a difference in the way your skin looks.

Tone Your Body
Cardio alone will not help shed cellulite easily. It may melt your fat off, but it won’t tone your body. Incorporate strength-training exercises like Yoga and Pilates, or do some squats at home to build strong and lean muscles that will eventually make your skin appear smoother.

Drink More Water
Did you know that increasing your daily intake of water can help shed the excess fat in your body? Well, drinking water helps hydrate and flush out toxins in your body. On top of that, it also strengthens the collagen in your skin.

Exfoliate
A little bit of exfoliation and massage can stimulate circulation in the fats, thus breaking up the fluids and fat trapped under your skin, which helps remove cellulite. Invest in a massager with little nubs that really help rub the fats.

Have Some Coffee
Did you know that caffeine is used for reducing cellulite and is commonly found in anti-cellulite creams? Instead of spending your cash on expensive cellulite-smoothing rubs, get a full dose of coffee in your skin by reusing your coffee grinds. You can use the coffee grinds as a scrub with some olive oil, or you can make your own anti-cellulite remedy.

Gently heat a 2 cups of coconut oil and add a few tablespoons of fresh coffee grinds. Steep for 5 minutes, strain the grinds and leave it to cool in the fridge. Apply daily after a shower and you’ll notice some change in the appearance of your skin.

Cut the Fat
Junkfood and simple carbohydrates (carbs that consist of simple sugars) will not help in your quest to shed cellulite, but it will probably contribute to it even more. So maintain a healthy diet and eat all those lush green vegetables and colorful fruits, and replace simple carbs with wholegrain and multi grains.
