Drake has won several awards worked with some of music hottest stars and sold over 5 Million records worldwide. But the rapper/producer may soon be clearing his trophy table for what he considers a more meaningful accomplishment, his highschool diploma.
On Wednesday 25-year old Drake announced that he officially a highschool graduate tweeting : “97% on my final exam. 88% in the course. One of the greatest feelings in my entire life. As of tonight I have graduated high school! “
Drake dropped out from highschool early in his academic career and saying high school was not for him. Ironically, he went on to play a high school student on Canadian TV show ‘Degrassi’ until his character graduated in 2009.
Drake first revealed he was in the process of getting his degree back in August, telling Torronto’s Now Magazine : “That’s my main focus after OVO Fest. I only have one credit left, and I’m really excited about that.” Source
