Kuala Lumpur will be home to the first ever Harrods Hotel, according to Bloomberg.com. Qatar Holding’s Vice Chairman Hussain Ali Al-Abdulla said that the company, which owns Harrods since 2010, has decided to build a hotel in London and Sardinia, Italy as well. The construction in Bukit Bintang is planned to start in a year’s time.

It’s also being reported that the Harrods Hotel in KL will have 300 rooms, and an eye-popping RM2 billion will be spent to build this luxurious building.

The Lipstiq team can’t wait for the completion, and even if we can’t afford to stay at Harrods, we’re hoping that they’ll have a mini-department store that we can visit there!
