Halloween is just a few days away and it’s the only time you can sport a lewk – from your fit to your face – that scares children. Whether you’re planning to be a ghost or Frankenstein’s monster, makeup is pretty essential to tie in your whole look together. But some of us are not blessed with the skills of applying makeup, especially for Halloween. It takes a special kind of skill to do SFX makeup and face painting, gurl.
But don’t fret, as we have curated a list of easy-peasy Halloween makeup you can do right at home. After scouring the internet and MakeupTok (thankfully, we came out unscathed), we uncovered 7 simple Halloween looks. Plus, if you still have no clue what you want to be for next week’s spooky night, this list might help make your life a whole lot easier.
The simplest way for you to get into the Halloween spirit – especially if you’re too lazy to do a full-blown makeup look – is to do a spooky graphic liner look. Liquid eyeliner is basically all that you need – and a few inspos to get you started. Luckily for you, we have another list of spooky eyeliner looks you can do this Halloween.
We completely understand if you have a HUGE crush on Pennywise – I mean, who wouldn’t, right? So, what better way to show your absolute adoration for the killer clown than to become his wifey this Halloween? A simple, yet sexy look – and you barely need any extra products. All the tools you need you may already have in your vanity. What truly seals the deal on this look is the clown nose – so adorbs!
This might not be the scariest skull look out there, but it’s for sure the easiest to do. Just grab a toothpick, dip it in your liquid eyeliner and go to town. In just a matter of minutes, you have your skull look ready to go. It might not scare any children, but at least you know you’ll be the sexiest in a room full of other skeletons.
Bloody Cut Crease
The cut crease is soooo 2017, but a bloody cut crease lives on. If you’re already a pro at doing cut creases, then doing this look would definitely be a breeze. You may choose to opt out of using fake blood if you don’t have any. However, what’s a bloody cut crease for if it’s not bloody, right? Stipple the blood along that crease you’ve drawn on and it will look like someone tried to gouge your eyes out.
quick & easy Katherine Pierce Halloween makeup ❤️🔥 P.S. Why be a pontianak when you can be a sultry vampire? If you don’t want to dip into glitter like Twilight’s Edward Cullen, than be a sexy Katherine Pierce from The Vampire Diaries. Create a sunken eye look with a light purple eyeshadow and draw some squiggly lines under your eyes to mimic veins and voilà, you’re done! All you need is to find yourself a Stefan Salvatore to be your arm candy for the night.
Look, we get it – being scary might not be up your alley. So, let’s amp up your cuteness by being an adorable scarecrow on Halloween night! Scarecrows aren’t that scary anyway, so making a scarecrow cute should be as easy as doing the look above. All you need is an orange eyeshadow to colour your eyes, cheeks and nose and a black pencil eyeliner to draw the scarecrow’s stitching on the outer corners of your mouth, around your nose and your forehead.
Be the Devil spawned from hell – but wayyyyy sexier, with this ultra-sexy look. Just do your normal glam as you typically would. However, finish it off by adding tears of blood which drip down your eyes in the shape of an upside down cross. I mean, nothing screams SATANIC more than this look, which is perfect for Halloween.
