Drop The Negative Body Language That Turns Dudes Off!

As a normal human being, it’s not crazy and weird that half the time we may be unpleasant, disgusting and snobby. But of course, most of us try to avoid situations like that, and we tend to put more effort in the way we look, especially if we’re trying to catch the attention of a certain man out there. You know what I’m talking about! You spend an extra long time in front of the mirror before you leave the house, putting more effort into that makeup and acting all elegant when he is around. Pfft! Way to make it obvious.

But sorry to burst your bubble, ladies! Sometimes, we may carry out actions that may not be pleasant to our fellow male species. Our body language (if you haven’t already read our previous article), and the ways in which we present ourselves on a daily basis, are important points that we should pay attention to.

So, here are 5 body language examples that can turn men off – that you should stay away from!

1. Showing Your Worst Side In Public

Listen, if you’re a secret bride-zilla, leave it at home where nobody is watching you – except maybe your brother, who is already tired of your bullsh**! But when you’re in public, especially with the guy you have a crush on, never show signs of bad manners.

We ladies want guys to impress us – like being a gentleman and stuff. Similarly, our best behaviour is going to impress the guy we like and maybe, finally catch his attention. If you start acting like a bratty 5 year old or ill-mannered in any way whatsoever, just forget your chances for love, okay, child? Be extra polite, drop the drama (cause we know that as much as we hate real life drama, when you’re a girl, its pretty hard to not be involved in it), be attentive to your surroundings, but also be yourself – the best version of yourself.

2. Being Overly Sexual

Honey, as much as we want him in between our legs, being overly sexual – be it in a jokey or serious way – is definitely a turn off for men. Showing excessive sexual cues in body language can not only be very awkward for the man, but also make you look incredibly stupid. Like bending down to pick up a tissue in a very sexually telling manner – seriously? Or biting your lips too hard and being obvious. Wait, don’t get me wrong – biting your lips is sexy and definitely a turn on, but not when it’s overdone and sexually exaggerated.

So, if you have been doing this in hopes of turning him on, please stop, cause you are desperately shooing him away!

3. Masculine Speech Intonations

“Yo, sup dude?”… NO! Stop that intonation right now. You are not going to attract the guy you like, or anyone, with “manly” behaviour. Now, I know its normal for some girls to just be a little too direct and maybe brutally honest. Speaking for myself here. If you, too, have similar traits like this in your body language, you should know when to tone it down a notch and be softer and gentler.

Not implying that you should change yourself, cause you should NEVER! All I’m saying is, how about being a bit softer when you feel like you’re getting carried away with your loud and harsh intonations. Harsh and not-so-ladylike tones can turn off a man.

4. Impenetrable

Not what you’re thinking! Impenetrable as in being a stone-cold lady. Not being stone-cold is equally important as not being too desperate. Showing “not interested” body language is just as major a turn off for men. You gotta know how to keep it neutral.

Show him you’re interested, but also make him second-guess if you’re actually interested or not. This will make it more interesting for him, rather than you being like “Yes, daddy take me already”! No, simply nope. Flirt a little every now and then, but remember not to over do it. Give him a little validation – maybe some giggles and whatnot.

5. Being A Child, Or Worse – His Mom

Let’s be clear – I believe your initial thought is to be his girlfriend, and maybe if you get lucky, his wife. Not his mom and definitely not a little child. When you’re all giggly and soft, trying to impress and attract him, never forget that you are a woman. Hence, act like one.

Being overly strict or overly childish is definitely a turn off to men. Showing motherly love and cute behaviour every now and then is a turn on and will totes catch his attention.

Always remember ladies – the key is to be yourself, but a better version! Now, go get him!
