It’s been a while since I’ve been in the dating game, so I’m a little rusty when it comes to the art of dating. But what I do know is that it’s very telling when someone is gradually losing interest in you. And you might think it’s just part of dating, because you both can get sick and tired of each other. But it’s quite the opposite – you’d care for each other and are willing to spend more time to create memories together when you’re in a relationship.
When I say it’s very telling when someone has lost interest in you – it’s true, so here are 4 signs for you to note to get rid of the man ASAP.
Less Talking, More Ghosting
Yeah – there’s no other way to put it. Look, replying late because your man is busy with work is one thing, because you’re being understanding about his situation. But it’s a completely different thing when he does it not only consistently, but intentionally as well.
The talking becomes less frequent, even though you try to spark up a conversation; or he has no interest in keeping up with your life. If that’s not a major sign for you to dip, I don’t know what is.
Change For The Worse
As time passes, people can change due to experiences they’ve had; or it’s just them growing and becoming more themselves. It just makes it super frustrating when you’re in a relationship and you see your partner changing for the worse.
When your partner’s priorities change, they themselves change and that’s okay – IF they include you in that journey. If they’ve become distant along the way and are not engaging in that relationship – you have got to GO.
Behaving Rudely
When relationships become more strained and there’s a lack of love, it can cause some friction which can lead to arguments. What’s extremely aggravating is when it’s unprovoked, and your partner is just out of nowhere behaving rudely towards you.
He’s not the same man you met before. He’s cold and unwelcoming to the extent that he doesn’t realise that he’s hurting you. You might be wondering: “Where is this coming from?” He’s just simply lost interest in you – and you should definitely leave.
Bumping Down From Their Priority List
Being in a relationship automatically means that you should care for each other. You guys might not be each other’s number one priority, but if one is feeling down, the other should help and vice versa. To know that he has suddenly lost interest in you is to note that he doesn’t even care about you – at all.
You’re feeling down, he doesn’t pick up the phone. You fought with your family and wish for comfort, he’s too busy playing video games. It’s THE major sign that he has completely lost interest in you and you should definitely leave.
Quick Tip
When you’re in a relationship, just remember to never settle for LESS. It’s just going to hurt you in the end. If you pick up on any hints or red flags, trust your gut and just immediately call it off. Trust us that the moment you recognise the do’s and don’ts in a relationship, the easier it is for you to find The One.
