Daniel Craig’s successor as James Bond for the next Bond film could be anyone at this point. Amongst the stars who have been speculated to take up the role include Idris Elba, Tom Hardy, James Norton and Tom Hiddleston. But the latest actor who is reportedly in the running for the role has left us wildly unimpressed.
Okay, we have to admit that the One Direction star’s performance in Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk was commendable, and to be honest, we have nothing against the guy. But, as James Bond.. Really? With his baby face? We’d rather someone more suave and sultry, if you know what we mean.
That said, Lee Smith, who cut Nolan’s previous films, argues that the 23-year-old could be perfect for the job, “Harry could do it. If they wanted a younger Bond then why not? He has got it.” He also told The Daily Mirror, “You would have thought you were dealing with a guy with many years of experience. You would never know that [Dunkirk] was his first film.”
Just our two cents, but what do you guys think? Let us know!
