Doing away with classics, Häagen-Dazs is playing with flavours and texture this festive season with two new ice-cream flavours. Trying to eliminate the perception of festive flavours being berry and nuts, Häagen-Dazs introduces their Asian inspired Mochi-flavoured ice creams, incorporated in their ‘Love You So Mochi’ menu, a range of sweet treats catered for the holidays.
When you think Asian flavours, matcha is no doubt on the top of the list. But what about combining matcha and cushion-textured mochis? We’d say it’s a matcha made in heaven. The ceremonial grade Matcha from Kyushu, Japan adds a fragrant touch to the ice cream, making it fine in flavour.
While matcha might not be for everyone, Häagen-Dazs also came out with the Azuki Mochi, set to appease your sweet-tooth cravings. Made with Azuki paste flown in from Hokkaido, the red bean paste blends into perfection with the Häagen-Dazs ice cream base and giving an extra chewiness to it is of course non other than the soft-steamed mochi pieces within the scoops of ice-cream.
Along with their classic flavours, Häagen-Dazs features their all-time favourite ice-cream fondue with a mochi twist. Encouraging the joy of sharing, cute little mochi ice cream balls into the classic combination, and dipped into dark and white chocolate sauce for a warm festive spirit.
Celebrate the holidays with Häagen-Dazs’ special festive treat – the Festive Flower Mochi Tree. Visually looking, the charcoal cone flower tree is a combination of a Christmas tree and Sakura tree, with fruits and granola crumbs sprinkled all over to bring out the festive relish. 
The festive celebrations are never complete without cake! With this in mind, Häagen-Dazs merged fun colours and flavours into their limited edition ice-cream cakes. Combining the two latest mochi flavours with their classic vanilla ice-cream, the layers blend in perfectly, giving it a smooth texture that harmonises perfectly.
The limited edition ‘Love You So Mochi’ menu is already available up until February 2018 or while stocks last.
