There are some things in life that are just plain impossible; like meeting your favorite celebrity. I am fully aware that I will probably never meet Rihanna, ever. So I’ll just sit in a corner and cry.
But not for this Hong Kong-based robot maker, Ricky Ma.
Mr. Ma built a robot that looks like the buxom beauty, Scarlett Johansson. He also mentioned that he has loved robots ever since he was a child.
“After I grew up, I wanted to make one, but during this process, a lot of people would say things like, ‘Are you stupid? This takes a lot of money. Do you even know how to do it? It’s really hard’.”” he told Mirror Online.
After a year and 50 grand later, Ma came up with a replicant woman that he called Mark1 and she was programmed to respond a number of verbal commands.
“I figured I should just do it when the timing is right and realize my dream, if I realize my dream, I will have no regrets in life.” Ma explained on what made him want to create Mark1.
