What a shocker! One of the most successful models is quitting the catwalk for Hollywood, and this time it’s for good. Cara Delevingne recently parted with her modeling agency, Storm Models, but said she was not done with the industry although she’s leaving for now.
However, it’s not only about her new Hollywood career. The actress who stars in John Green’s Paper Towns and has six upcoming films including the anticipated Suicide Squad, said she could not find joy in doing what she previously loved doing. With all the stress Cara was facing, she then developed a painful skin condition, psoriasis, which made her feel like she was being judged under a microscope.
In an interview with The Times, fashion’s “It” girl said modeling made her feel “a bit hollow after a while”. The whole modeling thing made her feel miserable and less human. The 23-year-old revealed that she felt very old when she was actually young. The extremely busy and demanding nature of the job even took a toll on the gorgeous Brit mentally. Who would have thought?
