Woman Films Herself Exercising for 100 Days and Learns to Love Herself

When San Francisco resident LaKeisha Shurn felt depressed and low on self-esteem, she decided to take control of her life with the #giveit100challenge – a challenge that encourages people to live their life to the fullest by doing something for 100 days.

In the beginning of the video, LaKeisha expresses: “I have low self-esteem, I am going through depression, and I want to change all of that. Next hundred days I will be on the journey of losing weight and finding myself”.

And that’s what she did exactly. For 100 days, LaKeisha filmed herself exercising for the #giveit100challenge and the videos document her journey towards fitness. At the end of the journey, La Keisha lost a whopping 18 pounds and she also learned one of the most important things a majority of women have yet to learn – to love themselves.

As LaKeisha shows off her lovely new waistline, she also proudly demonstrates her newly found ability to lift her leg above her shoulders. This video is incredibly relatable, as LaKeisha explains that she wants to be able to do amazing things with her life. But instead of letting her depression escalate, she took control of her life and changed her life completely!
