Called the MJ Cafe, this place is located near Bandar Utama and is an ideal place for you guys to enjoy some good food and good music.
Its Fusion menu is wide and you practically can get almost anything here. We decided to try the Thai Green Curry which was only RM13.00 and guess what? It tasted exactly the same as the type of Green Curry which you could get at a traditional Thai Restaurant.
Right beside the MJ Cafe, is the D’Lee Deli Cafe. This cafe serves desserts, bubble tea and ice-blended drinks. According to the owner, Mr. Ken Lee, he makes these desserts by himself as he has a huge passion in baking.
He completed his studies in Culinary Arts and today, he makes these desserts by himself. According to him, the best selling dessert on the menu are the brownies. The menu changes often and if he realizes that his customers are not happy with a certain type of dessert, then he would either completely remove it or the would try to improvise on it.
The crowd starts to builld up from 7pm onwards and if it is a Friday or a Saturday evening, then you would probably find it hard to even get a seat. MJ is an abbreviation for Mayang Jaya, a place located in Petaling Jaya where the business first started off. It started off as a small coffee shop until the family decided to expand it.
According to Mr. Ken, the business is currently doing quite well and they have a few outlets in Kuala Lumpur itself. But this is the only place which serves Shisha and alcohol. His family members run the other outlets and he said that in time to come, he plans to upgrade MJ to a franchise business.
