Wedding bells are ringing and confetti is in the air!
Orange Is the New Blacki star Samira Wiley married longtime love Lauren Morelli in Palm Springs, California on Saturday! The news was first reported by Martha Stewart Weddings.
The newlyweds, who met on the set of the popular Netflix series, tied the knot during a confetti-themed celebration at the same place they got engaged last October. The wedding was designed after their love of Funfetti cake by Beth Helmstetter Events to plan the wild and absolutely fun bash. Honestly, pretty sure that our invite got lost in the mail…
Wiley’s parents officiated the outdoor ceremony, which was preceded by recession up the aisle to Montell Jordan’s “This Is How We Do It.” The brides also made their grand entrance to the reception with Justin Bieber’s “Baby” playing.

Samira and Lauren both were in Christian Siriano. During the ladies’ first dance, an explosive confetti cannon rained down upon guests, because, IDK, confetti wedding? Duh.
The actress later shared a post-wedding photo of the newlyweds, captioned, “#wifed”
The couple started dating in 2014, after Lauren’s divorce from Steve Basilone, her husband of two years. The OITNB writer-producer came out as gay in an Identities.Mic essay, writing “I realized I was gay in fall 2012, one of my first days on the OITNB set.”
