La Martina SS14 Collection Combines Brit Heritage & Vibrant Hues

Argentine Polo brand La Martina is best known for producing stylish and performance-driven clothing for the Polo players. Inspired by the world of Polo, La Martina offers collections men, women and children, fulfilling the style needs of everyone.

The La Martina Spring Summer 2014 Collection offers a diverse range, from an old English heritage made of tweed and Oxford cotton, to modern Italian bright and sunny colors and wild African patterns.

The Coleccion Privada combines English tradition with Argentinian colours, exploring of the style of the first colonizers, evoking a unique look rediscovered from old photos of the big English families who first made the vast Argentinean land their home. This capsule collection features bright polo jerseys, cropped trousers, tweed jackets and classic English waistcoats.

The Royal Box capsule collection draws inspiration from the Royal Family’s esteemed guests, highlighting a variety of influences and styles. military details can be seen throughout the entire collection, and original appliqué details are inspired by the Royal Family’s historic crests. . The women’s collection also includes majolica-inspired printed dresses and shirts, intended to evoke the rocky villages of Liguria. The sunny yellow and bright shades which evoke the colours of the houses, contrast with the blue, navy and grey which respectively evoke the sea and the rocks.

Out of Africa evokes the Europeans’ burning desire for adventure, and to discover majestic lands, colours and exotic tastes. Complete with animal prints and graphic Masai influences, various colors are also used to denote the African landscape like red and burnt orange, while  purple and turquoise shades is inspired by local dress.
