Who knew that the late boxing legend Muhammad Ali has a 19-year-old grandson named Biaggio Ali Walsh, and he is quite the champion himself.
Biaggio (who got his name from his Italian great-grandfather on his dad’s side), is the son of Muhammad Ali’s daughter Rasheda Ali and Robert Walsh.
The hunk once attempted to follow his grandfather’s footsteps in the ring, but took to a different sport. “Me and my brother would train in boxing when we were really young with our uncle, and Nico found a passion for it. But I didn’t feel what he felt,” said Biaggio.
His football career began in high school, and he sped across the field as a running back for Bishop Gorman High School in Nevada, a team that has won 54 consecutive games.
“I never knew what football really was when I got a card of [football player] Brian Urlacher. One day I turned on the TV, and the Bears were playing, and I’m like, “Oh, that’s the guy on my card.” That’s when I knew what football was.”
He added, “In seventh grade, I tried out tackle for the first time, and I didn’t play that much. Eighth grade, I took a year off. But freshman year came around, and in high school I wanted to start it up again, and I guess it all worked out from there.”

You are the greatest person to walk the face of the Earth. Your dedication and hard work inspired the entire world. My senior football season is dedicated to you Poppy. You are my idol and it's not often that your idol is also your relative. You are in a better place and you are no longer suffering now. God bless you forever. The Greatest Of All Time. My Poppy…. I love you.
When asked if he’d want to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps, Biaggio remarked, “I don’t want to just be looked at as an athlete. I want to be looked at like my grandfather was, as a spokesperson, talking about life, what’s right from wrong. I want to [highlight] what’s more important in life, not just what [we’re all] caught up in right now.”
On top of his football career, Biaggio is also one of the new faces of Wilhemina Models.
“I plan to model while I’m in college. I think the agency is going to work around my schedule, hopefully, so it’ll make it a lot easier for me. I’m putting football and my education before it, of course.”
PS: The football star/upcoming model also revealed that people often mispronounce his name (Biaggio) as Bellagio, like the hotel. LOL 😅😘
