Style icon and multi-hyphenate Emma Watson always takes a stand for causes she care about, and although she’s been busy going around promoting Beauty and the Beast as of late, she’s taking the time to shine light on sustainable fashion and why it’s important.
On a new Instagram account called @the_press_tour started by the 26-year-old actress, she showcases the outfits she dons during her press tour and it promises to offer a behind-the-scenes look at her outfits. She breaks down her looks piece by piece, highlights the designers and then discusses the sustainable practices they use to create the garments.

Today was a brilliant day of interviews, press conferences and photoshoots for @beautyandthebeast in France. We snuck out of the junket and onto the roof of the hotel to capture these shots against the beautiful Paris skyline. Custom @louisvuitton dress designed by @nicolasghesquiere. The dress fabric is Newlife recycled polyester, created from used plastic bottles. These are sourced, mechanically processed and spun into yarns in Italy, with a fully traceable supply chain. This saves energy and reduces CO2 emissions compared to creating brand new polyester fibre. The arm band was created in a carbon-neutral mill. Dress validated by @ecoage #ecoloves
On one photo caption, she addresses her focus on sustainable fashion, “PS. You may have noticed me talking about my clothes recently – I’m trying to be conscious about where my clothes come from and also about the people who make them. Just in case you wondering! (I’m not being paid by brands to do this btw!) All fashion info verified by @ecoage.”
As if we don’t already love her enough!
