SiHy lenses are advanced soft lenses which allow more oxygen to pass through the lens to the cornea – the transparent layer that forms the front of the eye. The lenses enable significantly more oxygen to reach the cornea compared to regular hydrogel lenses.
Air Optix® Colors lenses are designed based on the same renowned lotrafilcon B material used in Air Optix® Aqua contact lenses, providing an identical 33% water content and oxygen transmission. The lenses include a smooth, permanent plasma surface technology for superior wettability, deposit resistance and consistent comfort from day 1 to day 30. Alcon also encapsulated the colour within the lens material to reduce friction and enhance eye health.
