Eat With Your Eyes
When it comes to eating vegetables that you do not like, get yourself mentally stimulated by vegetables- start looking up colorful and appetizing pictures of vegetable dishes that could set you in the mood to try out these dishes yourself.  They could be cooked in cheese or in an appetizing stew,  but you’ll end up wanting to give it a try or thinking “That must taste amazing”!

Stock-up On Your Favorites
Even if you’re not fond of vegetables, you’ll still need to get your dose of vegetables. Add Vegetables to Soups
Soups are usually the best ways to get your vegetables. Cooking them in a meaty broth means they’ll absorb the flavor of the meat, making them tastier. As the vegetables cook, the flavors of the vegetables seep into the broth as well, therefore vegetables don’t taste as strong as they usually do, but the nutrients are still present in the soups. Fill up your soups with cabbage, carrots, peas, celery and chopped tomatoes. Alternatively, you can also puree them so that it becomes almost like a stock that rich in flavor and nutrients!

Make Veggie Mash

Who doesn’t love mashed potatoes? They’re delicious and they always complete a meal. But did you know you can replace mashed potatoes with other vegetables instead? Cauliflower is a great low-carb alternative that has a similar texture and consistency for mashed potatoes. You can also mash pumpkins and sweet potatoes, which are an excellent source of fibre. Work the consistency with cooking cream or milk to obtain your preferred texture, and salt and pepper to for taste.

Improvise Recipes

You don’t always have to limit yourself to salads and steamed veggies when it comes to getting your daily dose. Get into the habit of improvising your dishes with a vegetarian pasta dish or a pie. Slice your vegetables like tomatoes and zucchini and top them with cheese and other toppings, then bake them to create little hors d’oeuvre or snacks. Stuff or roll your vegetables in meats or replace your bread wraps with a slice of lettuce, instead. There’s no end to how you can improvise with vegetables in your meals, so start getting creative in the kitchen!
