In conjunction with Tokyo Street’s 6th Anniversary celebration, Pavilion KL is proud to announce the first ever Japan Expo Malaysia 2017 (JEMY 2017) — an immersive three day event which gathers Japan’s most iconic cultures, music, anime, art, fashion, food, travel and live entertainment from 28th to 30th July.
So what’s in store for you?
Popular for his viral song, PPAP or better known as “Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen”, Pop Sensation Pikotaro will be performing for the first time in Malaysia at this exhilarating event. Visitors will also get the chance to rub shoulders with famous cosplayer Minori who will head the cosplayer parade at JEMY 2017.
There will also be special performances and appearances by Shigeru Matsuzaki, Maito from King Creamsoda, Ryoma Quartet, Naomichi Hanazono, Haruka Yamashita and Reon Kurosaki. This exciting line up of artistes and teen idol groups from Japan will be sure to create an immersive celebrative atmosphere for every Japanese fan.
Across Pavilion KL, Fahrenheit88 will also be hosting over 15 booths promoting Japanese food, education and many more. Look out for exciting opportunities to study in Japan or try the popular Japanese thick egg hot sandwich. Artistes Reon Kurosaki and Monster Kidz will also be making appearances at the mall so stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks.
