Who said you need a Birkin if you’re the PM’s wife?
Singapore Prime Minister’s wife, Ho Ching, was seen carrying a humble, dinosaur printed clutch at the state visit to the White House. The clutch, only $11, was designed by a student from Pathlight, Singapore’s first autism-focused school.
Although Ho Ching’s clutch was initially met with criticism and harsh judgments, all the haters silenced upon learning that the clutch was designed by 19-year-old Seetoh Sheng Jie of Pathlight.
Thanks to Ho Ching’s humble heart, Pathlight’s sales jumped and they sold 200 clutches within a day after images of Ho went viral on social media.
