Somewhere out there, in the streets of Varna, Bulgaria there is a cat and it is green. Yeap, you read that right. There is a green kitty cat out there and it’s not because of Photoshop or some genetic disorder. This real-life Bulgarian green cat has been roaming the streets of Varna having residents shocked by its unusual colour. So shocked that they even went out on a hunt to find out why it is green.
Because there are so many people out there that mistreat animals, the first thought was that there was someone out there playing a cruel joke by painting the furry cutie green. They even created a Facebook page to help search for the culprits. But thankfully, the truth was a lot less nefarious. It turns out that the cat has been sleeping in a pile of powdered green paint!
Many have tried to capture the cat in order to clean it and inspect its health but every effort has proved to be unsuccessful. So, until someone can actually rescue this cat and clean it up, there will always be THAT green cat in Bulgaria.
