There is nothing more inviting than a beautiful and clean home. After a long day at work, coming back to a nicely decorated home that’s spotless will relax you like nothing else. So, if you’re looking to do a little DIY project this weekend, why not spruce up the look of your home? You don’t necessarily have to fork out huge amounts of cash to beautify your home, just try some of these cool and inexpensive ideas:
Add a tray
Spruce up your coffee table with a bright coloured items and a tray. Place little trinkets on the tray for an organized look and don’t be scared to put a cute vase on the coffee table for a fresh look.
Go for a feature wall
Themes can sometimes be overrated and tiring because everything has to match. Matching is not something that is a must so why not go for a unique feature wall to add some personality to your living room, bedroom or dining area?
Make white pop
Nothings gives a room a more clean and fresh look than to be adorned with something white. But white alone can be very boring so add a dash of colour with throw pillows or lamp shades.
Add children’s artwork
If you don’t have a child it’s okay, but why not frame your little niece or nephew’s drawing piece from school and hang it by the dining area or in the kitchen? Who cares for abstract when kids’ art are way more interesting and fun to look at.
Stack the books
I’m a big fan of books and I’m an even bigger fans of stacked books as decoration on a coffee table. I feel that it instantly adds a homey feel to a living area. Try it out and see how you like it.
Colour your lampshades
If you find yourself looking for a unique-coloured lampshade and haven’t been successful, you should try getting creative and paint the lampshade yourself.
Keep it clean and simple
For an inviting bathroom, make sure you have a clean counter top that’s delicately decorated. Keep your vanity area organized and pretty by adding some flowers or candles.
