What happens if your car stalled and a group of men drove past you offering help. Would you come out of your car and accept the offer? Would you ask for a ride back home?
Sadly, this is no longer the world us women live in. Vogue India recently released a short film of a young woman that had a stalled car in the middle of the night and has an encounter with a group of rough-looking guys. This short film is part of their “women-centric” #VogueEmpower campaign.
The woman is played by actress Alia Bhatt and the short film was created as well as directed by filmmaker Vikas Bahl. He said in the description of the uploaded video on YouTube, “I pledge to create a short film titled ‘Going Home’, in which we visualise a utopia for women, where, unlike today, mistrust and fear don’t dictate actions and decisions.
