Ridsect Emerges With Improved Formula To Get Rid Of Mosquitoes & Flies

Ridsect, a familiar household name known for its red and yellow iconic image, recently unveiled its improved formula and new look – revamped and packaged in vibrant red and a touch of black.

As a leader in the pest control market with a rich heritage and brand assurance of over 59 years, SC Johnson is pleased to announce the improved formula for the brand new Ridsect Advance that kills mosquitoes now also kills flies.

Ridsect Advance features a bold combination of red and black colours that illustrates freshness in the brand and a commitment to offer protection for its consumers. Through its enhanced formula, Ridsect continues to deliver its promise of killing hidden mosquitoes and flies, when in contact with the spray mist; reaffirming itself as the country’s established insecticide brand.

As a strong advocate of dengue prevention with many campaigns executed previously, SC Johnson has been educating Malaysians about the wrath of dengue through its informative and engaging activities. Ridsect has partnered with the Ministry of Health Malaysia and the Ministry of Education Malaysia for many years in driving awareness programmes to combat dengue.

SC Johnson is committed to working with communities to fight dengue by encouraging Malaysians to keep their homes free of breeding grounds for mosquitoes. In May this year, as part of its community outreach programme, SC Johnson contributed RM 200, 000 to the Ministry of Health Malaysia for dengue prevention initiatives.

The Ministry of Health Malaysia channelled all funds to Communication for Behavioral Impact (COMBI) that is actively working with various parties to minimise dengue cases in Malaysia. The brand continuously drives awareness and education to families to empower them with the knowledge to take personal action in keeping mosquitoes away, as a first step in this fight against dengue.
