For those of you who like fur, maybe dog fur would be a great, cruelty-free alternative!
Fur You by Doris is a “high-end handbag line inspired and produced from professionally groomed, sterilized, dog hair thread.”
Entrepreneur Doris Carvalho hopes to raise enough money to turn her passion into a business. Hence, she created a page and video on the Kickstarter website with a goal of raising $15,000 to begin her business. She said that that would be enough money to finish her first line of 30 purses and for marketing.
Carvalho said she sterilizes the dog hair before turning it into yarn and it takes about 50 hours to make one purse. The entrepreneur plans to sell her dog hair purses for $1,000, but hopes to bring that price down if she goes into mass production.

On the Kickstarter website she mentioned, “The design of each handbag is unique for each piece. No two handbags are the same!”
“I hope people who like the project can help,” she also said. “Any contribution is welcome.”
