Despite popular belief, you don’t actually need to tons of chemicals to beautiful skin or shiny hair. While many of us believe that we need makeup to look beautiful, we actually don’t. Of course, I’m not saying throw out your entire collection and just go bare-faced all day, everyday but there are some tips to looking naturally beautiful with minimal makeup.
Moisturise, moisturise, moisturise
Not only should you moisturize your face to keep it from getting dry and accelerating aging process, but it’s also important to stay hydrated. Moisturising and keeping yourself well hydrated, will leave your face glowing and looking fresh all day.
Mask it up!
Facial masks aren’t just for fun and for the sake of being girly. They actually have many benefits to them, so you should try using facial masks at least 2-3 times a week and keep in mind your skin type.
Eyebrows are important
Believe it or not, a lot of women over-pluck their eyebrows. Take time and look at the natural shape of your brows and pluck accordingly. If you want to grow them back try applying natural oils on your eyebrows each day with coconut oil or olive oil.
Transparent is sometimes good
See, when we say naturally beautiful we didn’t mean no makeup at all, although you can forgo entirely. There are however, some really good cosmetic products out there that can help enhance your already beautiful features. Try some transparent eyebrow gels and mascara, then see the difference it will make.
No bad hair day
If you choose to abandon makeup and decide to go au natural, you should always have good hair. This means avoiding harsh hair colours because it emphasizes the little flaws on your face. To keep your tresses as shiny and healthy as possible, try not dying your hair at all and if you do keep it to a very natural tone. Like your face, your hair needs masks and oil treatments regularly. Because nothing quite beats beautiful and silky hair!
