Who doesn’t love desserts!? From cakes to Malaysian inspired ice-cream, there’s just so much to choose from. We here at Lipstiq.com believe that a good dessert goes a long way, hence why we searched high and low for one of the most sinful and satisfying desserts that Kuala Lumpur has to offer. So, sit back and feast your eyes on this list of sinful desserts you must try!

The best of both worlds combined! Imagine a cake filled with creamy durian puree as the filling and t0 top it off it’s coated with a smooth and thick chocolate ganache. Who would have known that chocolate and the king of fruits would go so well when paired together.

Tiramisu @Alexis Bistro

We’re not too sure about you but tiramisu can get pretty boring after a while. But what if there’s a crunchy twist added to this classic dessert? Picture this: crunchy, caramelized mixed nuts, soft sponge and rich, alcohol-laced cream with homemade strawberry sauce at the side. That is one of the many delectable desserts to choose from at Alexis.

Sizzling Brownie & Oreo Ice Cream @Acme Bar & Coffee

Just when you thought it couldn’t get anymore sinful! A square shaped brownie that is incredibly rich and dense, placed on a hot plate with a generous scoop of  frozen Oreo ice cream! Now here’s the best part, with all of that on the hot plate, you then pour hot, hot bittersweet fudge around or on top of the brownie and watch it sizzle away!

Cempedak Rolls with Vanilla Ice Cream @Fat Spoon Cafe

You can’t get anymore Malaysian than this dessert right here. Imagine hot crispy rolls filled with thick, mushy, ripe cempedak pulp with a side of vanilla ice cream. Yum!

Ice Cream @Cielo Dolci

Bored of your generic ice cream flavours? Head on down to Cielo Dolci for some unique and truly Malaysian flavours. Choose from a variety of flavours such as salted caramel, dark Belgian chocolate to one of their most unique ones, nasi lemak! Yes, that’s right, nasi lemak flavour. This icy cold goodness has bits of rice in the coconut gelato, and it is sprinkled with dried red chilli flakes and finely chopped fried ikan bilis. It’s pretty odd but a definite must try!
