Describe your personal style – It’s hard to say if I have a certain “style” as I usually dress according to my mood and the occasion. Generally, I prefer pieces that are versatile and allow freedom of movement, as I am quite an active and on-the-go kind of girl. However, I do have days where I feel like putting on a bodycon skirt and heels, just to show off my girly side. Oh, and I love DIY accessories and tops too!
Look 3: Dress – Forever 21, Sandals – Cotton On, Bangle – H&M, Feather Earrings – Chamelon
Your thoughts on the fashion scene in KL – I think the fashion scene here has evolved greatly throughout the years, with the blooming of many international brands as well as online shops. People are starting to develop a personal taste in fashion too, instead of following the mainstream trends which can get rather boring after some time. I like the fact that people are now bold enough to try on new looks and mix-and-match different prints and patterns – it inspires me.
Look 4: Crop top – Miira Mew, Shorts – Forever 21, Flats & Leather Bracelet – Cotton On
Your favourite places to shop – I can shop anywhere, really, but if I had to pick a few, it would be Forever 21, Cotton On and H&M. I also budget shop at places like Sungei Wang and Fahrenheit 88 once in awhile. I think going for the “big brands” isn’t really that much of a big deal, so I’m fine with clothes from flea markets and local stores. At the end of the day, if both the item and the price tag looks good, I’d buy it.
