One can confidently say that the Duchess of Cambridge’s closest fashion rival is younger sister, Pippa but these days, it seems as though Kate has another contender, who also happens to be royal.
It appears that the soon-to-be Queen Letizia (she will be crowned queen consort on June 18th!) has more than a few things in common with Kate and we’re not talking about their hair colour or their commoner backgrounds. Both royals have similar sartorial choices and the more we see it, the more we agree.
Let’s start with the first outfit.
1. Navy Blue Pants Suit
Kate opts for a more casual look by pairing her jacket with a ruffled blouse and jeans. The former Princess Letizia took a more elegant and formal turn with matching trousers, a lace detailed blouse and completed the look with open toe pumps.
2. Red Skirt Suit
Nothing commands attention like a striking red suit and both royals have done just that. The future Queen of Spain wore a rd blazer with shimmering details and chose a pair of nude pumps while Kate’s red suit was matched with black accessories.
3. Floral frocks
Another look that has been spotted on the royals are floral prints. Kate wore this pretty Erdem number during her Asian tour two years ago but we have to say, Letizia’s Zara number looks way more stylish than the Duchess’. We totally dig the way she knotted her thin belt and it’s great to see a royal who isn’t afraid of shorter hemlines.
