Rumour mills are set for a field day with this one!
Coldplay’s lead singer Chris Martin was spotted enjoying the company of Alexa Chung in New York recently.
According to a source, the two grabbed a drink together at the bar Elsa last week, less than two months after Martin’s and wife Gwyneth Paltrow split after 10 years of marriage was announced.
“When I arrived, about 9:15 p.m., they were tucked away in a dark corner of the back room of the bar,” the source is quoted as saying.
The informant added, “Chris and Alexa seemed to know each other really well. They were both in a great mood, and even asked us to watch their bags when they went out for a cigarette. It definitely looked like a date to me.”
However, it’s still a mystery as to whether it was actually a date or not.
The singer and the socialite reportedly met at the Glastonbury music festival last year.
