True love is indeed blind!
Claire Johnson and Mark Gaffey from Britain are both blind and met in March of 2012 at a training center for their guide dogs, where the two mongrels took an immediate liking to one another.
A trainer told them that their dogs, named Venice and Rodd, were literally inseparable, constantly playing and cuddling together.
Gaffey and Johnson, 51 and 50, were introduced to one another and they soon realised that they lived just 1.5 miles apart.
They hit it off just like their dogs, going on dates and eventually falling in love.
Time went by and Gaffey proposed on Valentine’s Day last year.
The couple were married last Saturday with their two guide dogs walking them down the aisle as ring bearers.
“Everyone used to joke about how Mark’s dog Rodd and my dog Venice were meant to be together,” the new Mrs. Johnson said.
She said that all four of them are forever “best friends and soul mates.”
Aww, how sweet!
