Anyone who associates porn-watching with a disappointing sex life might want to bite their tongue!
A survey conducted by an adult webcam site Cam4 (NSFW link) and French survey institute IFOP surveyed a demonstrative sample of 1,023 adults about their pornography ways. 90% of men and 60% of women claimed to watch porn on a regular basis and about 53% of the survey participants watch porn as a couple, while 66% said they would watch it with their partner if asked to do so.
These results show that porn isn’t just for men or single people, but it can also be a positive way for couples to connect and communicate. The twist in the study was that the respondents who watched the most porn were also the same group of respondents who had the most sex.
68% of men in relationships who watch porn said that their partner is aware of it and only 7% have been asked to stop. A previous study shows that people who were honest about their pornography habits felt happier in their relationships. Though adult entertainment can most definitely be a destructive force in people’s lives, it seems like it can also be a positive thing when used consensually.
