Klang Valley residents were shocked upon reading about an alleged kidnapping of a six year old boy this morning. Muhamad Zariff’s mother, a company secretary, had made a police report in which it was claimed that her son had been kidnapped by two men in a Perodua Alza when she dropped him and his sister, Qisya, off in front of a kindergarten in Taman Damai Impian.

According to their mother, Eryanis Dadamedah, a man came out of the Alza and pushed her to the ground when she opened her car door to let the children out. He then snatched Zariff and drove off.

However, the police has located the boy in Sungai Petani, Kedah, with his father, who had picked him up from his kindergarten earlier. Deputy Comm Datuk And Rahim Jaafar said, “We received a report from his mother claiming that Muhamad Zaruff had been kidnapped. Upon investigation however, we discovered the boy is with his father in Sungai Petani. We believe it is a domestic dispute between the boy’s parents.”
