This is great news for Malaysian console gamers as the Sony PlayStation 4 is finally here! The most-anticipated gaming console of the year with more than one million units sold within the first 24 hours in North America, has finally arrived and Sony held the official launch of the PS4 at 1 Utama New Wing, Main Entrance (Ground Floor) today, December 20th 2013.
During the launch event, Hiroyuki Oda, Deputy President of Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia provided an update on the current worldwide success of the PlayStation 4 and shared exciting news for those who have pre-ordered their PS4, and were there at the launch event to collect their consoles. Besides that, Hiroyuki Oda also presented the PS4 sets and an exclusive 10-year PlayStation Plus Membership to the first three pre-order buyers.
On the other hand, those who have pre-ordered their consoles earlier and were there queuing up to get their hands on the PS4 were also in for a surprise. 30 lucky buyers who were in line won a limited edition Sony PlayStation 4 t-shirt upon answering some questions directed by the emcee correctly.
Visitors to the launch event also got the opportunity to game hands-on with the brand new PS4 and the games that are available for free play at the roadshow include Killzone Shadow Fall, Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag, Just Dance 2014, FIFA14 and Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition.
