If you’re a K-pop fan, you’d definitely be familiar with this somewhat new South Korean-Chinese boy band, EXO. Produced by S.M. Entertainment, the band was formed in 2011 and comprises of 12 members separated into two sub-groups, Exo-K and Exo-M, that performs music in Korean and Mandarin respectively.
The band made their official debut in 2012 with the release of their single, “Mama” and its music video landed at number seven on YouTube’s Global Chart. They have released two albums, Mama and XOXO, which were major successes worldwide. Exo has also received numerous awards ever since their debut.
