If you’ve got the coins and the all the fantasies of being your favorite Disney Princess, you’ll be glad to know that DISNEY and Harrods will be auctioning off ten Disney Princess-inspired dresses created by some of top fashion houses like Oscar de la Renta, Versace, Elie Saab and Valentino.
The auction will be taking place in November at Christie’s, and will raise money for the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.
The dresses were initially create for Harrod’s Christmas window display in 2012, and each design is a unique interpretation of Disney best-loved heroines like Ariel, Cinderella and Mulan!
One of the best designs in our opinion happens to be Mulan’s gorgeous Oriental dress designed by the one and only Missoni. Versace gave Cinderella’s gown a shiny bridal touch. We’d like to say we were impressed by Marchesa’s silk mermaid gown, but we weren’t. It was a great design, but it didn’t capture the essence of the adventurous spirit Ariel was!
Here’s a closer look at the entire collection. Don’t forget to tell us which is your favorite!
