If the name is already starting to confuse you, don’t worry – U-Bay is nowhere related to eBay. U-Bay is solely dedicated to fashion and it’s a pretty good place to stock up on your wardrobe essentials.
U-Bay is owned by BUM Marketing, one of the many leading fashion brands in Malaysia that was revamped to give shoppers a new shopping experience with great deals, ample shopping space and a large selection of clothing.
The interior has a fairly urban feel to it – using red brights, metal racks, all illuminated with bright yellow spotlights. This gives it a very industrial feel, which also translates to the prices of their products – affordable. The space is also huge, but it’s well-coordinated so you won’t really get lost.
Although U-BAY is a unisex boutique, the majority of their are mainly targeted to female shoppers. Apart from clothing, you can buy facial masks, make-up tools, nail polish, in-house brand perfumes, accessories and toys. Larger-framed women will also be pleased to know that they have a pretty decent collection of plus size clothing!
U-BAY updates their range on a monthly basis to make sure their shoppers can keep up with the upcoming trends. Most of their items are sold at factory wholesale prices, with clothes ranging from RM15 and shoes ranging from RM20.
