Mother Stabs Her Baby in the Head with Scissors

The life of an innocent toddler was in danger when a married couple had a heated argument about the husband’s infidelity.

The mother, accidentally stabbed her 2-year-old daughter in the head with a pair of scissors around 3am. The couple, in their 30s, were believed to be intoxicated when they started arguing.

During the argument, the woman picked up the scissors to stab the man, but missed and instead, struck her daughter’s head.

In a fit of panic, the couple rushed their daughter to the Miri Hospital where doctor were thankfully able to remove the scissors.

“She was lucky that it went in about 3cm and did not pierce her brain,” said the hospital spokesman.  The mother has been detained by the police for investigation.
