Stay alert, people. Mythical creatures are here to invade our world and quite possible trying to spread their magic all around. No, not really. After some hard surfing through the internet we stumbled upon a couple of puzzling pictures of a man dressed in a centaur’s outfit while riding the subway in Japan. Centaurs are mythical creatures from Greek mythology. These creatures supposedly have the head, arms and torso of a human and the body and legs of a horse.
On April 30th, Twitter user Fumie tweeted “I saw a tengu (goblin or raven spirit) and centaur at Shinjuku Station! I should have gotten a picture with my cell!”
Despite his beastly appearance, the centaur is one civilized creature in the trains. He’s so friendly to the point that his man is willing to rest his hand on the centaur’s butt.
Well, we know for a fact that this centaur is really a man in a centaur costume, or half a horse, at the very least. In reality, just about everyone in Japan takes the subway since it’s efficient and fast. So, what is this man’s agenda behind his costume? A costume party, or just a little fun from watching people’s expressions? Whatever this gimmick is, he really got us fooled!
