Is it just a rumour that women often say “I’m so tired” way more than men do? According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Prevention, the answer is yes.
The CDC says that more women than men said they felt very tired or exhausted most days or every day when government surveyors asked them. About 15% of women said they were worn out compared with 10% of men.
It also looks like age has got something to do with it. The biggest difference in tiredness by sex is in the 18-44 age group, whereby women in the group were about twice as likely as men to feel exhausted.
The middle gap would probably have to do with child-bearing. The average age of a woman to give birth is quite possible between 25-30. And we all know that the life of a mom, whether a stay-at-home or a working mom is tough.
On a scale of 1-10, how tired do you feel? Do you find weekdays to be more tiring, or do weekends drain you out even more?
